I've recently had to switch from name brand (a few different reasons but mainly the chemicals/toxins and in doing extensive research, I've decided cotton pads will be a last resort for me). I've tried Viv (day and night pads and liners as well) and another bamboo pad company for the last few cycles and Viv's pads don't shift as badly as I move throughout the day so I don't end up with as many leaks (I do wish there was more sizes to purchase cuz the thing I miss most about the name brand pads I used to buy was they were super affordable and had 5 pad sizes to choose from as well as liners and so my regular flow days I'd never have leaks when I used a size three cuz it was the perfect size, but the thing I've noticed specifically with bamboo pad brands, is they don't have a ton of sizes to choose from) and without taking size into consideration, the absorbency matches that of the name brand I used before without all the chemicals and issues from the name brand, and the other bamboo brand I tried is a little bit cheaper but moves more and creates leaks so I now stock both and use Viv for days outside of the house, but if I'm at home during the day I use the cheaper and take precautions (in this economy, I'm saving where I can and I am fortunate to work from home so most days I use the other brand but if I wasn't worried about money, I'd stick with Viv through and through with the exception of the extra long pads from the other bamboo pad company).
One of my favorite things about Viv is the simple white packaging cuz it's easier to blend in with my things in my purse and I don't feel I have to have a pouch to disguise them in certain settings, and to me, the day/night side by side is pretty obvious to tell apart so I don't have a problem with the unmarked packaging and actually prefer it :)
I'm hopeful as the brand grows, so too will the number of sizes available but overall, I'm happy with my Viv purchases above all others :) And I did have an issue and contacted support and I have to say they went above and beyond to make it right, they were sooo easy to work with and friendly and got back to me quicker than I was expecting (smaller companies sometimes take longer to get back to you and they were just on top of it and I appreciate that)
