Our mission is to always provide the best and safest period care. Something that should be a bare minimum but has been overlooked for so long. We were tired of women’s health and tampons lacking innovation, so we took it into our own hands.
Introducing CottonlockTM by Viv. The first tampon to help prevent fiber shedding. Yes, you read that right. All other tampons in the market can leave fibers behind in the body, leading to many potential health risks and altering the vaginal microbiome.

Are they safe? Have they been tested for heavy metals and toxins?
We offer free shipping on all orders over $100. Orders under $100 will be charged a flat rate of $10.
Are they safe? Have they been tested for heavy metals and toxins?
Yes, this is something we take extremely seriously. Our tampons are certified to the Global Organic Textiles Standard (GOTS), worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire supply chain. GOTS has strict regulations for the presence of chemical substances that could pose a potential health and safety risk. It sets limit values for several chemicals, including heavy metals. Viv has been relying on third party testing to analyze raw cotton fibers for heavy metals for more than many years. The results obtained hereby comply with GOTS limit values. Microbiology testing is also being conducted on both raw materials and finished products. Viv tampons have been dermatologically and gynecologically tested to guarantee their safety.

Viv Menstrual Cups & Discs
Viv Cups are made of 100% Medical-Grade Silicone. They are put through extensive and continuous testing for heavy metals (including Lead), Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), Phthalates, all resulting non-detected levels of all substances.
Viv Cups also go through in-vitro cytotoxicity testing, showing no risk of toxicity.
Viv Pads & Liners
Viv Bamboo Pads and Liners go through strict Microbiology (including Bacterial, fungal, coliform bacterial testing) and Toxicology testing to ensure complete safety, as well as adhering to the highest sustainability standards.
Viv Pads & Liners are wrapped in a Certified Home Compostable wrapper, and are made of seven layers of ultra-absorbent plastic-free and biodegradable materials, all tested and compliant with GB/T 8939 and GB15979-2002 standards (product safety & quality standards for menstrual pads & liners). Viv Pads & Liners are OEKO-TEX certified and 100% organic certified.
