Viv pads and liners are 100% plastic-free and made of bamboo and corn fibers. These source materials reduce agro waste, using less land, water, and CO2 to produce than cotton and organic cotton products. Viv pads & liners break down in just 150 days, compared to traditional products, which take 500-800 years. The wrapper is certified home compostable and made from corn starch!

Viv pad and liner wrappers can be thrown in your compost bin if you have one! Used pads, liners, tampons, and tampon applicators should be thrown in the trash (because they have menstrual blood on them, we do not recommend composting or recycling them). Viv pads and liners are designed to break down in just 150 days in a traditional landfill!

Viv tampons are made with 100% organic cotton throughout. The applicator is BPA-free plastic, so it is smooth and comfortable with no harmful chemicals or toxins.

I’ve been menstruating for over a decade now and have nearly always used pads and in recent years used tampons. The amount of waste always bothered me(and the smell from pads!) as well as the sticky residue some brands of pads ALWAYS ( ;) ) left on my undies.
I was nervous and excited to try this cup. I’m 5’4, 110lbs and have a slim figure. I picked the small as I thought the extra small wouldn't be big enough. Well, I think I could’ve ordered the extra small because the small is a littttle too big for me when I fold it and try to fit it in. I reached out to customer support on help with deciding a size and their answer was basically, “try either small or xsmall!” But I would say, go with the x small if you have a petite frame, you can always size up and buy another. Ill be buying an extra small in the future so it’s not big to fold and put in.
ANOTHER big thing I found out - IF YOUR CERVIX IS SITTING LOW the cup will be hard to fit in since it’s sitting right there. I switched back to pads the few days my cervix sat low, but other than that I used the cup. ALSO-I LOVE the ring, I won’t ever use a cup without it. SO useful!

Love!

I was so intimidated to use a menstrual cup but the viv cup and the viv teams videos made it such an easy process. I love the ring it helps the removal process get done so much faster and I've had no leaks!

No leaks!

I’ve been using another cup for the last year and was constantly dealing with leaks no matter what I tried. I decided to take the plunge and try out Viv after seeing their educational videos on TikTok and I’m so glad I did! The quality is amazing and I love that the silicone is a bit more firm than what I’m used to! I’m able to actually feel and hear the suction so that I know it’s in place and I haven’t experienced any leaks yet! I also love that it has the loop at the end - this was a huge selling point for me because despite how long I’ve been using cups now, I’m still afraid of not being able to pull it out properly. But having the loop at the end is amazing and super easy to use. Big fan here!

Great alternative!

I’ve been using pads since I started my period and wanted a sustainable option. This is exactly what I wanted and prevented any unwanted smells during my period. I’m still learning but I will definitely be using this long term!

I love that the starter pack had everything I needed. The beginner’s guide was very helpful as I am very much a beginner here. I’m still getting the hang of it. But I am looking forward to this being my new go to during my time of the month.
